Bookmark a tweet from Twitter
Just a post for folks needing to bookmark the URL of a specific tweet on Twitter. Really easy, but not so obvious a magic trick – simply copy the link address of the “t minutes ago” hyperlink, e.g., the 8 minutes ago link in this tweet from TechCrunch’s timeline. In most browsers, the URL address can be copied by hovering over the link, right-clicking, and selecting “copy link address”.
For folks seeking the Twitter bookmarklet to quickly tweet the current page’s URL , this page on the Twitter developer site may be a good choice. For readers seeking some levity about the brevity of the twitterverse, the Tweet It parody video may be of assistance…
As a special bonus, some folks may enjoy this “Copy & Paste” site for sending common special characters to the clipboard that doesn’t require opening Microsoft Word. Especially useful for folks that work in the cloud and use these characters frequently.
